Mountain Biking

All the surroundings of the holiday farm Scaforno Vacanze are particularly suitable for mountain biking, with their numerous trails of various types and difficulties for all levels (the trail map is visible on the site of the Cultural Park of Camaiano ). You can choose routes with more or less challenging slopes, always with wonderful views; the mountain biker will be able to follow paths or dirt roads running along cultivated fields that open up to a wonderful glance, explore the hills of the Parco dei Monti Livornesi, covered by Mediterranean scrub or follow fresh hilly paths lined up by woods. Racing bikes are perfect on the asphalt roads of the area, going from one village to another, all with beautiful views and little traffic.

In Gavorrano (1 hour and 10’ from Scaforno) is the Golf Club Toscana, nestled among olive groves and tall cypress trees. The British Keith Preston 1999 is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Italy. Between the green hills of the Maremma Toscana, this circuit strikes for its exceptional views. Closer, in Bibbona, just 35 minutes from Scaforno, there is also the Golf Club Le Capanne.

For other sports, such as tennis or five-a-side football, in addition to our playground in Scaforno, it is also available the multipurpose sports ground in Castelnuovo della Misericordia, just 5 minutes away.
